The best dive sites in Tenerife
Tenerife, a beautiful island in the Canary Islands, is known for its diverse marine life and excellent diving opportunities. It attracts divers from all over the world for a certain reason. There are all kinds of underwater landscapes, wrecks, caves. We mostly dive in the South of Tenerife, as this part of the island is sheltered from the winds almost all year round. There are only a few days a year when bad conditions of the water do not allow us to do scuba diving tours. The rest of the time we enjoy calm warm water with visibility up to 30 meters.
There are several fantastic dive sites that cater to divers of all levels.

◦ Montaña Amarilla (Yellow Mountain). This site is known for its underwater caves and tunnels, and it's suitable for both beginners and experienced divers. Divers exploring Yellow Mountain can encounter a variety of marine species, including schools of fish, moray eels, trumpet fish, and octopuses. The area is also known for its vibrant coral formations and sponges.

◦ Palm Mar Cave. This site offers a unique experience with underwater caves and tunnels. It's suitable for advanced divers who are comfortable navigating through confined spaces. Exploring the Palm Mar Cave can be a thrilling experience for those who enjoy underwater cave diving and want to discover the unique geological features of Tenerife's underwater world.

◦ El Faro (Lighthouse). Near a lighthouse of the southern cape of Tenerife you will find a great diving location to discover marine inhabitants of its clear waters. Living on volcanic landscapes, numerous species of fish and animals make every dive here a wonderful underwater experience. You can spot here octopuses, angel sharks, sea stars, moray eels, different kinds of rays.

◦ El Condesito wreck. Sunken on 1973, this ship wreck is a must for divers coming to Tenerife. Being on 18 m depth, it allows divers of all levels to visit this place and enjoy additionally an abundant marine life that surrounds the wreck.

◦ El Bufadero (PalmMar wall). It might be the most famous place to dive in Tenerife. In the PalmMar wall and on the sandy bottom near it a huge community of varied animals live permanently. Each encounter with them leave bright memories to the divers that frequently return to this dive site again and again. The maximum depth is 24 meters, while most of the route lays on 18 meters, so the dive site is available for all levels.

Even those, who work here as divemasters or instructors, never get tired of diving in Tenerife day after day. Each dive becomes a unique experience thanks to those gorgeous animals that inhabit Tenerife’s waters.
